Part 2: Julianne Reveals a Sophisticated Phone, Defying Dismissal

She raised it calmly.

“I’m ready,” she said.

Nothing more.

No explanation.

No emotion.

Just certainty.

A few seconds passed.

Then—

A deep engine hum rolled through the street.

A black luxury sedan glided to the curb, polished to perfection. It didn’t belong to this world of noise and grease—it belonged to power.

The door opened.

A uniformed chauffeur stepped out and bowed his head.

“Miss, your car is ready.”

The crowd went silent.

Completely silent.

Leo’s mother’s expression cracked. Her lips parted, her confidence dissolving into something unrecognizable.

“Wait… I… I didn’t know…” she stammered, her voice suddenly small. “I was just testing—”

Julianne didn’t even look at her.

Instead, she turned to Leo.

For the first time, her eyes softened—just slightly.

Then she glanced at the ring.

Still open.
