It wasn't exactly love at first sight. In fact, when Berlin first appeared at a birthday party with a date, Faulkner admitted she was not very impressed.
"In my mind, he was fired," she joked years later.
Still, they quickly became friends. Six months later, Berlin asked Faulkner out, and this time, sparks flew.
Within a year, Berlin proposed by beautiful Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota, on what Faulkner fondly remembers as the warmest day of the summer.
The couple married in Arizona in 2003, and the rest is history.

Faulkner is a devoted Christian Baptist; Berlin is Jewish.

"We share every meal. We share a prayer," Faulkner explained. "Our faiths have more in common than people realize."

Today, the couple lives in Edgewater, New Jersey, raising their daughters while managing busy professional lives.
