Fetterman's Statement on ICE Again Causes Outrage Among Democrats
Fetterman clearly stated on X: “I don’t support or agree with all of ICE’s tactics or actions. I do fully support moves like these. This makes our nation more secure and all our children safer.”
His statement is in sharp contrast to the extreme wing of the Democratic Party that has spent years attempting to defund and abolish ICE. Fetterman previously referred to proposals to eliminate the agency as “inappropriate” and “outrageous,” which predictably drew outrage from radicals who prioritize undocumented immigrants over American families and children.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) responded forcefully: “Skip deportation. Go directly to the death penalty. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.” Her strong stance reflects the increasing demand among conservatives and parents for maximum justice against those who prey on children.
This comes as the Trump administration increases historic enforcement, achieving record removals of violent criminal aliens, gang members, and child sex offenders. President Donald J. Trump’s strict border policies are yielding tangible results and restoring law and order.
While Fetterman deserves credit for this support, he unfortunately joined most Democrats in opposing the “Big, Beautiful Bill” that would have provided billions more for ICE and completed the border wall President Trump began in his first term. True security requires full commitment, not partial measures.
