Fetterman Again Defends Israel, Diverging from Democrats on Iran War

WASHINGTON — Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) appeared on The Ingraham Angle on Friday, stating his readiness to stand alone against his own party in defense of Israel, a move that has surprised the radical Left.
As more anti-Israel voices emerge within the Democratic party, the Pennsylvania senator sent a clear message to Washington: He is not just breaking ranks, but is advocating for common sense.
‘NO MISTAKES’: Fetterman Defends Netanyahu and Israeli Strength
During his discussion with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Fetterman demonstrated moral clarity. When asked if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or the IDF had made any "missteps" in their recent precise strikes against terror centers in Lebanon and Iran, Fetterman responded without hesitation.
"No, absolutely, absolutely not," Fetterman stated. "I mean, Israel’s done what was necessary."
While "The Squad" and other far-left activists continue to focus on civilian casualties in terror-controlled areas, Fetterman highlighted an uncomfortable truth: Most of his party is distancing itself from America's key ally.
"As Democrats continue to abandon Israel, I’ll be the last man standing if that’s what’s necessary," he promised. "I’m the last Democrat, honestly, that’s proud to stand with Israel."
CROSSING THE AISLE: Support for Trump’s ‘Operation Epic Fury’
In a move expected to impact the DNC, Fetterman further expressed full support for President Donald Trump’s aggressive military strategy against the Iranian regime, known as "Operation Epic Fury."
Fetterman criticized his colleagues for not supporting the elimination of the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.
The Mission: Eliminating Iran’s leadership is a "strong development."
The Reality: Iran is an "evil regime."
The Call to Action: "We should all be behind our military at this point."
WAR POWERS ‘DISTRACTION’ CRITICIZED
Fetterman also criticized the Democrat-led effort to pass a War Powers Resolution—a move that critics suggest is intended to "handcuff" the Commander-in-Chief as he approaches victory.
With President Trump indicating that the conflict is nearing its conclusion, Fetterman dismissed the legislative actions as illogical and purely partisan.
"Why would you be voting every day, every day at this point, why?" Fetterman questioned, referring to the imminent end of hostilities. "We are so close at this point to shutting this down."
FORCES OF GOOD VS. FORCES OF EVIL
The Senator concluded with a strong appeal for Americans to remember who the true enemies are. He urged those with "large platforms" to stop constantly criticizing democracy and instead identify the real perpetrators.
"America’s not perfect, but we are the force of good as Israel is," Fetterman concluded. "If you have a platform and if you wanna criticize someone, criticize Iran, criticize Hamas, criticize Hezbollah."
THE BOTTOM LINE: As the Democratic Party moves further towards the radical fringe, John Fetterman is demonstrating that some values are more important than party loyalty. In the conflict in the Middle East, Fetterman has made his choice: He supports the forces of good.
Stay tuned to Fox News for more on the repercussions of Fetterman's impactful interview and the latest on Operation Epic Fury.
