FBI Director Kash Patel Initiates Major Behind-the-Scenes Action, Suggesting Hillary Clinton Should Prepare Legal Defense
Washington D.C. – FBI Director Kash Patel has initiated a broad "grand conspiracy" investigation into years of alleged wrongdoing by Democratic operatives and parts of the intelligence community, ranging from the Russia collusion hoax to the Jack Smith prosecutions, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The investigation, which started several weeks ago, could lead to the appointment of a special prosecutor to determine if these actions constituted a coordinated effort to influence multiple U.S. elections in favor of Democrats and to the detriment of President Donald J. Trump.
Two crucial classified annexes are central to the investigation. The first is from an inspector general inquiry from years ago into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, obtained at the request of Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. The second is the “Clinton plan intelligence” mentioned in Special Counsel John Durham’s final report on Russiagate. Both were previously kept from the public and most members of Congress.
If President Trump declassifies these documents, prosecutors could present them to a grand jury to show a pattern of the FBI and intelligence community knowingly suppressing evidence harmful to Democrats while aggressively pursuing flawed claims against Trump.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe recently criticized former CIA Director John Brennan for prioritizing “narrative consistency over analytical soundness” in handling the 2016 election interference assessments, particularly the discredited Steele dossier.
Separately, the FBI is also examining previously unreported human-source intelligence suggesting China may have orchestrated fake mail-in ballots in 2020 to help Joe Biden. The bureau reportedly received corroborating evidence but neither investigated the tip nor preserved the material, instead ordering its destruction.
Director Patel’s strategy is designed to bypass looming statutes of limitations by treating the incidents as part of a continuous conspiracy or racketeering enterprise. This approach would allow a special prosecutor to connect older and newer offenses under one framework.
Possible locations for a grand jury include Florida, where Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Mar-a-Lago raid and classified documents case against Trump occurred — a case later dismissed.
A former federal prosecutor consulted by the Trump administration noted that Florida is “an intriguing option because overt acts of the alleged conspiracy occurred there and are still inside the statute of limitations.”
